How to Contribute

Oromia Regional Islamic Affairs Supreme Council has launched a new Zakat distribution program designed to efficiently collect and distribute Zakat funds to eligible recipients throughout the Oromia Region.

This program ensures that Zakat is collected properly according to Islamic principles and distributed fairly to those in need. We work with mosques, community organizations, and individuals to maximize the impact of charitable giving.

Zakat funds are distributed to eligible recipients including the poor, needy, those in debt, travelers, and others as specified in Islamic law. Our department maintains strict transparency and accountability in all Zakat operations.

Community members can contribute their Zakat through designated collection points at mosques and Islamic centers, or directly through our office. All contributions are properly documented and distributed according to Islamic guidelines.

This program strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood within our community while fulfilling our religious obligation to support those in need.
